Badge is worn by Officers who have qualified by passing one of the following courses:
a. Royal Navy (RN) Long Course
b. RN Principle Warfare Officer Course
c. RAN Principle Warfare Officer Course
d. RAN Surface Warfare Officer Course, or
e. completion of other courses or experience in command of a combat ship.
